if you're in the gallery, please stand I apologize for the name notices and announcements Senate Skelos for a purpose to rise. To represent to the body a senatorial assignment. You have the floor. Thank you Mr President, today is a special day for me I have a opportunity to support a strong relationship between North Carolina and China. I think probably about 20% of the senators in this chamber have at one time or another visited China. A number of you have expressed your support for developing relationships with him, and the investment so I bring forth the senatorial statement where the United States of America and the People Republic's of China, established an official diplomatic relationship in 1979, and actually the annual trade volume between the Unite States and China has reached over 500 billion in 2013, and then in another statistic is, on any given day, 10, 000 Chinese or American fly back and forth between the two countries and North Carolina exports to China reached 2.8 billion in 2013 and China has definitely become an important part of North Carolina second largest exporting destination. And from 2004-2013, North Carolina exports to China has increased by 261% so what I wanted to do today was bring a senatorial statement to undersign a stronger relationship with China, which helps bridge countries and they're great people and Mr President I submit these info statement to you, thank you. This is a copy of a cheque which totaled $2.8 bilion of debt which North Carolina actually owed the federal government which represented a very I guess you could call it on a failed economic system within state government as far as unemployment insurance but as of Friday the $2.8 billion has been payed of completely to the federal government and with that start in January of 16 we will see significant reduction and unemployment insurance cost and taxes to our business which will allow them to grow and prosper and I applaud each of you for making a tough decision and doing the right thing on behalf of the businesses and the people of our state.
